   A short walk up a few hills, it seemed to be closing down for the day or mostly unopened when we arrived just after noon. Unfortunately we didn’t buy anything because of this. But the views of San Pedro and the lake were worth the trek.

   Great market, somewhat difficult to walk to, I think the majority of people take a tuc tuc there. Great prices on just about everything, and in particular, the prices on traditional clothing that tourists might want is significantly cheaper here.

   Grab a tuk tuk and head up the hill. Lovely way to spend the morning shopping for groceries to cook back at your accommodation. Friendly store owners.

   It’s a real pity that the market was moved out of the center of town to this remote spot way up the hill. It’s all over by noon, so go in the morning and be ready for a hike (or a tuk-tuk ride).
