Great experience at Tzampoc! The grounds were beautiful and the rooms were well kept. The staff was incredibly kind and attentive - we had a great time just hanging out by the pool. Restaurant was also very good and an option if you don't feel like venturing into town. Reception put us in contact with a tuk tuk driver, making it easy to get from place to place. Keep in mind this hotel is up a steep hill (which gives it the great views) and you may have to walk up it or have a tuk tuk take you up. It is also a little outside the main towns, but tuk tuks were convenient for getting us to and from.

Words aren’t enough to describe how wonderful Tzampoc is. The view of the three volcanoes over Lake Atitlán is breathtaking - and you have it everywhere: from the stunning infinity pool, from breakfast, from the restaurant, and (for us at least - not sure of everyone) from your room. It might be the most beautiful view I’ve ever seen. The hotel itself is truly lovely. Alabaster white buildings house the rooms, nestled among beautifully tended gardens. The food at the restaurant is outstanding. And the staff are above-and-beyond kind, charming, and helpful. We are particularly grateful to Christian, the restaurant manager, who was a miracle worker and always with a smile - he helped us with many things during our stay and also organized for us a fantastic guided tour of villages across the lake. We had a very special stay and would highly recommend.

Tzampoc was an incredible stay and the customer service stood out from the moment we arrived. The property is tucked away, so it feels peaceful and secluded, but the food is so good that you really don’t need to leave the hotel if your goal is to relax. When we did want to explore, getting to Panajachel was simple -- it’s just a quick 10-minute tuk-tuk ride, and the hotel arranged everything with someone reliable. We were here for our honeymoon, and it was honestly perfect. The room and bathroom were very clean. The bed was a bit firm for my preference, but my husband slept amazing -- so it really comes down to personal comfort. Earlier in our trip we stayed in San Marcos, and after seeing so much of Lake Atitlán, I can confidently say this hotel has the best views. You can see the entire lake in one frame. It’s breathtaking. I don’t usually take the time to write reviews, but this is one of those places that deserves it. The hotel also offers activities, and while they come at an additional cost, having those options available makes planning easy. Highly recommend Tzampoc -- it was a memorable part of our trip and absolutely worth the stay.

I had the most amazing stay here! The staff were incredibly friendly, patient and went above and beyond! The views were breathtaking! I also had an upgraded room with a huge balcony and had breakfast on the patio every morning. The staff made everything super easy. This hotel is a gem!
