If I could put -100 stars I would, Do not book anything here. They have no idea what they are doing with the booking system, They will tell you that your room is not paid for, even though it is and it’s non refundable, They will cancel your reservation if you are not willing to pay again. And because like I said they have no idea how to use the system or they play dumb hotels.com can’t give you a refund . PLUS they do not have any customer service ability.

I’ll put my main idea first: do not think that you would not cancel a hotel before actually coming here, and here is the hotel’s nonsense. The place is extreme inconvenient and almost offers nothing to eat in this village, so I ask for cancellation. The worker firstly found excuses to reject my claim, after I showed him the policy on the booking page, he then changed his mind. According to the policy, they should give me a full refund except for the first night and overall tax, and i agreed. After the initial agreement, they ask for the burden of other taxes simply derived from their operation, such as income tax, that the fees of my room not even attain its starting point. I argued, and the worker and the manager refused to talk by saying that they do not understand English and rejecting to use translator. Good luck for whoever decide to book this hotel. Run as fast as you can.

It arrives very fast, 5 min from the center. It is not so busy but not deserted either. very nice view. It is definitely a must if you are in Atitlan. It is not necessary to rent in the area, it is easily reached by car.

Sadly I made my reservation on the phone (which by the way is a lot cheaper than online) and they screwed up the dates! I drove for over 5 hours to find out the person I talked to wasn't allowed to make reservations. They helped me find another hotel and reimbursed my deposit. My guess is someone booked online and paid more than the Q400 I paid for two adults... or who knows? Maybe it was an honest mistake! Not my problem anyway.
