About

Abeja Obrera in San Juan La Laguna blends a honey bee themed experience with restaurant service, featuring large portions and diverse menu options including wings and barbacoa. However, mixed reviews note overpriced specialty beer and inconsistent food quality relative to pricing and hype.

Staff was helpful and taught us a lot about the local bee populations, the differences between species, and the various applications of bee by-products beyond just honey! Gift shop was a little expensive.

The serving portions are HUGE! The staff is very friendly! Large menu from Caldo de pollo o carne to hamburgers to fish etc! The wings are very large and the barbacoa sauce is excellent! We are here twice and we were NOT disappointed.. look no further.. "Ya Gotta Eat Here!"

It's the most expensive beer in the lake. 50 Quetzal and the claim that it's made from honey and cocoa. Truth is it tastes like regular gas station beer. Do not recommend at all.

They sell a honey beer that they insist has no gas and is supposed to be flat?! They didn't want to change it and was overpriced at 50 Quetzales. It has a nice view on the second floor but for sure a tourist trap.

The guacamole with nachos plate is huge good for large party. Pleasant ambience and service. I don’t recommend the pizza, unless you like doughy pizza. Frappes are good and cold
