Abeja Obrera in San Juan La Laguna blends a honey bee themed experience with restaurant service, featuring large portions and diverse menu options including wings and barbacoa. However, mixed reviews note overpriced specialty beer and inconsistent food quality relative to pricing and hype.

Delicious coffee and tasty food (good baked goods, too, if they're not sold out for the day). Family run place with good service, economical prices, and a perfect location just up from the road to the dock - easy to find, but feels secluded in the city center.

We were the only ones here and despite that waited a bit too long for breakfast. We were asked if we want our coffee to be served right away or with breakfast, to which we replied that we want it to be served along with breakfast. It was served about 15 minutes earlier. Breakfast includes americano; we asked if it can be replaced with espresso and cappuccino. We were told it's possible, only to be forced later to pay for it extra.

Went for a capucino latte, tasted so good after a long morning hike. Café tour is offered there.

Doesn’t exist in this location anymore sadly. I used to enjoy their breakfast and coffee.

At the very top of the hill from the lake deck. This is by far the very best coffee we have in Guatemala so far (Antigua and Atitlan). Plus, two huge homemade cookies with your lattes. Highly recommend.
