High hopes for this place after the reviews but sadly I got hit with a bout of food poisoning, after which was not good. The flavor profile is definitely leaning towards a BBQ style so not traditional. Tacos had an oddly sweet flavor. Also, way too much milk in the coffee. A sad experience from what could have been a great hidden gem.

The food was quite good but the service was extremely slow. It took them a long time to even get us coffee.

Delicious food, great atmosphere enhanced by music, friendly staff and clean. Whenever I’m passing San Juan La Laguna again, I’m going to eat here again.

I wish I had checked the last reviews of this place before eating here as the following day myself, my husband and my son all developed terrible food poisoning. My youngest son was fortunate enough not to but he didn’t eat any meat which we all did. Looking back, it wasn’t the greatest food and it wasn’t very hot. Maybe think twice before eating here.

Really cosy family restaurant with a nice atmosphere. Service was excellent and food was delicious. Burrito and chips were perfect.
