   All the bad reviews are true. Hygiene is extremly low. Hair in salad , hair in fish plate. Microwave cooking. Horrible service and superwierd owner. After Complete chaos trying to order with incompetent personel - owner came and started to blame us for “doing it all wrong” “You should oreder drinks first! Where are you from? Never heard of that country.” Never coming back. Please avoid. Better stay hungry. Overpriced! More expensive than Hotel Atitlan which is a top hotel on the lake.

   Location and view is the best in town. The food is great!! Steak, shrimp, and nachos all excellent. The cocktails are well-made. Hard-working staff. The owner is a supportive community member and a great guy to have a chat with. Will come back any time we are at the lake! 🐻⬇️

   Absolutely loved this place. Great location right on the beach. And a stone throw from the ferry dock. Travis was an amazing host. Had the football game on for us, shared in some cool stories. Food was awesome! Beers were cold! Couldn’t recommend this place enough. I could have eaten here everyday. If you’re looking for a homey spot for dinner or to watch sports, look no further! Thank you Travis!

   Travis was a great host! He lit the fire for us, he was very very attentive to the cook of our steak. He really welcomed us into his own home which is a very good feeling when you have been traveling a lot. Additionally he was accommodating to our diet! Also, best strawberry daiquiri we have ever had 🍓

   I have eaten at Tul Y Sol each time I have visited the lake. The quality of food, the drinks, and the service have been excellent. It is enjoyable to sit and enjoy the amazing view. Last week I was there for the several course Thanksgiving meal which was outstanding. I will be returning again!
