   Super friendly staff! Great service and AMAZING atmosphere. Upon arrival we were given a choice between 3 rooms, all nice and clean. There are lots of bugs around (as to be expected) so be wary. The food is great and priced very reasonably (two can have breakfast for ~$14-16). The whole front of the property is a big garden with cobblestone pathways, has an outdoor patio and bar, a pavillion with hammocks and yoga mats, and of course the dock in front where you can also relax. Overall, a great place and I'd recommend it to anyone looking to stay around lake Atitlan and wants to spend a night or two in Santa Cruz!

   While they normally do two family style seatings in the evening we had missed both. They were very gracious and served dinner to our group of 10. They were even able to accommodate the vegetarians in our group.

   The service is not good, we wait like forever and the food was very expensive and not good, one of the pancakes with egg shells no flavor, the juice not natural, i brought my sister for a nice breakfast and i failed. The place is cute though :(

   The lady behind the bar was extremely unhelpful. I recently went here to have a drink and use the WiFi to book my next hostel. The lady was very reluctant to give me the WiFi code although I was a paying customer. When she finally gave me the password, I was using it for 5 minutes before the signal went. I saw her standing on a ladder switching off the router. When I asked her why she had done this, she pretended it was a town wide internet issue. I pleaded with her to turn it back on as I was essentially stranded until I was able to transfer money online and book new accommodation. Fortunately for me, two German ladies overheard my discussion and offered me a hotspot from their phone. Much to the dismay of the lady behind the bar. I would not recommend this place!

   We stayed here in 2018 and it was amazing. The food was fantastic with the best view in the world. The property feels like a botanical gardens.
