I do not know how this place was empty. Slow season or not! The food was great, the service was top notch, and the building was decorated in old blues artists. The owner sometimes performs here. They have a pool table upstairs. We ordered the bed burritos and the lemon chicken. Both were delicious. The fresh lemonade was also good. We were trying to wait out the rain so we stuck around a little longer for some carrot cake.

I visited Blind Lemons back in February, it was very close to the hotel I stayed in. The atmosphere was very quiet and calm. The food was great. We shared an appetizer of Nachos (as pictured) and I had the specialty Lemon Chicken as an entree. The others in my group also enjoyed their meals. No complaints. Would visit again if I return to San Marcos.

We arrived on a rainy night and the restaurant was completely dark. Nobody there. But we were welcomed by a very friendly lady, she turned on the light and we loved the atmosphere. We ordered fried chicken and fries with vegetables, a bottle of wine and had a great evening. The chicken was fried on the grill outside and within reasonable time we had plates on the table while the rain was pouring outside. A very nice experience.

Great little place for dinner. I had the lemon chicken and my boyfriend had the typical chicken plate (fried chicken). My chicken and salad were delicious, however the potatoes were extremely salty; inedible. Otherwise everything we drank and ate was delicious! Beautiful outdoor and indoor dining. Two entrees, 1 coke, 1 beer, 1 shot of rum + service charge 220Q/$30

On a rainy night we found this place with more shelter the others. An authentic colonial house. We were warmly welcomed with a big smile. The kitchen opened and served 4 great meals. Including a bottle of wine and beers we paid 130q pp.
