Gorgeous location, the beds are big and clean. The grounds are simply beautiful and it’s on the lake. But I gave 3 star for the rooms because they’re lacking coffee. I gave 2 star for service because the restaurant is basically unavailable for a reasonably timed breakfast. They don’t open for coffee or breakfast until 730, which is too late for timely shuttle departure and too late for coffee before early morning tours. If you book here, bring your own coffee and snacks.

I stayed here for a few days while visiting Santiago Atitlán. The staff was kind and welcoming, and I ended up eating several meals here as well. The view of the lake was beautiful.

Rooster crowing all night, every night and dogs constantly barking as well. If you like lots of noises and hard bedding, you will enjoy! Breakfast was very good and inexpensive. Lush gardens and breathtaking views of The 3 Giants. Water taxi, boat dock on grounds, making it convenient to get aross the lake. None of the amenities make up for my poor sleep due to constant rooster crowing for the second night in a row as I write this review at 4:16am, still listening to them.

I was there for a retreat and it was the perfect backdrop and setting for beautiful and powerful transformations to take place. It is an incredible hotel and restaurant on the breathtaking and powerful Lake Atitlan. The food was delicious and made with so much love. The hospitality was incredible and everyone went above and beyond. I can’t wait to go back!

This place is a sanctuary of beauty, delicious food, delightful gardens and best of all, central to Lake Atitlan. The short walk to Santiago village is convenient for visiting the markets and shops. The view from the cathedral at the top is breathtaking! I recommend this destination. The people here are warm and welcoming, friendly and kind.
