Apparently, Moonfish has the first pure prepared cacao sold on the lake! On their menu it says since 1999. So far it’s my favorite cacao I’ve had on Lake Atitlan. I love the personal cacao ceremony with honey and chili flakes it’s so good.

Absolutely amazing food! Such good flavours and I am a seeker of good flavour! I really think this place should have higher ratings as it's the tastiest meal I've had in Guatemala and one of the tastiest we have had in central america! Try the baked burritos.. you won't be dissapointed

We arrived about an hour till close, the restaurant was still full and the lady welcomed us right in. There are plenty of things to choose from on the menu. We had the tempeh plate, tempeh burrito and some kimchi. The kimchi was just pickled veg not like Asian kimchi. The prices are decent here and the service is good, I would definitely come back

The food was delicious - we had the falafel and it was amazing. However, the service was disappointing. The restaurant wasn’t very busy; we arrived more than an hour before closing time, and there was only one other guest who already had his food. After us, another couple came in, and they received their order before we did. That wasn’t the biggest issue, but it seemed like our order was forgotten. Later, the waitress told us we should take our food to go instead of eating there, which felt quite strange and not very welcoming. She did apologize, but overall it left us with an unpleasant experience despite the great food.

The garden setting is lovely and the prices are very affordable, but the overall environment felt a bit messy. There are many stray dogs around, they’re calm and friendly, but can get in the way while you’re trying to eat. They also have a lot of decorations, cushions, table cloths which didn’t feel sanitary. We ordered a chicken burrito and a pork burrito; both were quite average. The chicken burrito had very little chicken and was mostly filled with lettuce. We also tried the garlic bread, which unfortunately wasn’t good quality & a felt like an afterthought.
