I recently co-facilitated a yoga retreat for 20 people at Loma and from the moment we arrived until the time of departure, we were well taken care of. The team was very supportive in the planning and on site facilitating of accommodations, transportation, activities, ect. to ensure everyone felt taken care of and in good hands. The location is stunning, the staff is friendly and attentive, the food was fresh and nourishing and the rooms and shared spaces were very clean and inviting. The location itself is very peaceful and absolutely breathtaking--perched in the mountain overlooking Lake Atitlan and the volcanoes. The yoga shala also provided gorgeous views of the lakes and volcanos and was well supplied with enough props for the group. We couldn't ask for better views or a more welcoming and supportive energy from the land and the people here. The Mayan people and culture are vibrant, resilient, deeply rooted and connected to community and the earth and have so much wisdom to share. Our group especially valued their time immersing in the culture and sharing in the land, food and wisdom of it's people.

I led a yoga retreat with 18 participants at Loma in February '26. I've hosted lots of retreats around the world, and Loma provided the highest customer satisfaction to date. In my opinion, the property is the ideal location for a wellness retreat. There are areas for solitude, rooms with sweeping views, a yoga shala with all the props you need, and a stunning pool and sauna to bring the luxury and relaxation vibe. The staff is attentive and goes above and beyond to support the needs of the guests. The meals were delicious and nourishing. Loma supported us in booking transportation, suggested companies for eco-friendly, local excursions, and provided an element of karma yoga through a social enterprise in Tzununa. I can't wait to go back and wow more of my attendees!

I feel so privileged to have spent time in retreat with Loma de Atitlan. The staff were so friendly and helpful, and prepared delicious and nourishing food for us everyday. I can’t understate how gorgeous the views were and how powerful it was to stay in an area as sacred as Lake Atitlán and learn about the Mayan culture. I deepened connections with others on my retreat in such a profound way; this place will always be such a gift to me and I hope to come back again in this life time. Thank you for providing such a supportive place for an amazing experience.

Absolutely dazzling! This sanctuary boasts one of the most spectacular views of Lake Atitlán, perched high on a bluff above Tzununa--and it’s worth every step of the climb. Everything was beautifully curated: the yoga, the food, the sauna, the pool, and the attentive service. Every detail felt intentional, creating a space that is both beautiful and deeply restorative. A truly magical place to land.

The most amazing place! I spent 3 weeks here and I am leaving today feeling transformed. The location is out of this world, the view is healing all in itself. The food is so healthy, yummy and consciously curated! The staff, the guests and the community around Loma are all incredible human beings; I feel that loma attracts the grounded, kind and open travellers looking to connect with themselves, the land and others through their hearts. I met so many amazing people!!! I feel incredibly blessed for my time here. I highly recommend staying here, and if you can stay longer than a few nights I think its worth it :)
