  • パナハチェル メイン通り上部の市営市場は、湖畔で(ソロラに次いで)最大の毎日市場です。新鮮な野菜、市場内の食堂で提供される調理済みの食事、いくつかの織物の屋台があります。
  • サンペドロ・ラ・ラグナ 村の上部(ゾナ2)にある市営市場で、主な買い出し日は火曜の午前中です。市場内の食堂ランチはとても地元らしい雰囲気です。
  • サンティアゴ・アティトラン セントラル市場は湖畔でも特に印象的な市場のひとつで、伝統的なツトゥヒルの民族衣装、湖の小魚を干した「パティン」を売る売り子、トマトやハーブ、花などが並びます。食堂では注文を受けてから調理する最も新鮮な料理が食べられます。
  • サンフアン・ラ・ラグナ 小規模な市場で主に週半ばに開かれ、中心広場にあります。通りの向かいにあるラ・ボス協同組合のコーヒーツアーと組み合わせるのがおすすめです。
  • サンマルコス・ラ・ラグナ 屋根付き市場というより、主に果物・野菜を売る屋台が中心です。村自体が小さいためです。カトリック教会の近くを探してみてください。

地域最大の市場:ソロラ (火・金)

ソロラの週2回の市場(火曜と金曜の午前)はこの地域最大の市場であり、グアテマラで最も写真に撮られる市場のひとつです。湖畔に住む地元の人々はまとめ買いのためにソロラまで上がり、観光客は色彩や織物を目当てに訪れます。最も活気があるのは午前8〜9時ごろで、午後には市場は徐々に閉まっていきます。

ソロラはパナハチェルからピックアップトラックまたはシャトルで坂を上って20分ほどです。町のほぼどのシャトル会社も片道Q15〜25で連れて行ってくれます。

  • デスペンサ・ファミリア(パナハチェル、ソロラ)。 最も大きなスーパーマーケットチェーンです。品揃えも価格も手頃です。ATM(5B系列)があります。パナハチェル店はソロラからの町への入口道路沿いにあります。
  • プエブロ・パナ / マキシ・パナ。 外国人居住者や旅行者向けの小規模なパナハチェルのスーパー。輸入食品、ピーナッツバター、チーズの品揃えが豊富です。
  • デスペンサ + ティエンダ。 どの村にも基本的な商品(ボトル水、油、卵、スナック、トイレットペーパー)を扱う小さな角の商店(ティエンダ)があります。営業時間は長く、ほとんどが現金のみです。

屋台 + 食堂

食堂は家族経営の厨房で、日替わりの定食(アルムエルソ・デル・ディア)をQ20〜40で提供しています。一般的にスープまたはご飯+豆+鶏肉または牛肉+トルティージャ+飲み物という構成です。最もおいしいのは食材が新鮮な昼食時(12〜14時)です。品質にはかなりばらつきがあるため、地元の人におすすめを聞いてみてください。

屋台は夕方から夜にかけて、特にサンティアゴ、パナハチェル、ソロラの中央公園周辺で見られます。シュコ(キャベツとアボカドを添えたグリルホットドッグ)、トスターダ(サルサやワカモレを添えた揚げトルティージャ)、チュチート(小さなタマル)、ププサ、エスキーテ(コーンカップ)、タコス、そしてサンティアゴの「パティン」やサンルーカスの「ハワイアナス」(パイナップルと牛肉のタコス)などの季節限定料理があります。
